Greektown Casino Hotel

Centered in downtown Detroit's Greektown neighborhood, this casino hotel by the same name is touted for its city views and its proximity to Comerica Park, home to Major League Baseball's Detroit Tigers.

Guests are quick to note that the hotel employees are friendly and accommodating, and also compliment the guest room views and beds. But it's the affordable room rates and 100,000 feet of non-smoking gaming space that keep the visitors coming back.

Between time at the slots, rest in one of the property's guest rooms and suites with views that overlook downtown, the Detroit River or Canada.

Best central location and directly connected to the People Mover with free parking (not during game times) !

Closest to the Red Wings

Catch the Red Wings ice hockey team, the Detroit Tigers baseball team, or the Detroit Lions football team playing at home during your stay. Spend a day people-watching and relaxing on the riverfront featuring the 3-mile Riverwalk, entertainment, plazas, pavilions, and greenery.

Discover the diverse activities and events the city of Detroit has to offer from our downtown Detroit hotel. Traveling around the city is simple from our hotel, which is situated just 1 block from Fort/Cass People Mover station.

The Cobo Convention Center is less than 2 blocks away, making our hotel the ideal accommodation for those attending meetings or conferences downtown.

“Pay extra for Corner Suite or ask for Honors Upgrade. They have many more windows and extra space.”

“Purchase the pre-paid value service. It's the same price as the lot and much easier.”

The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant

Experience the Original Model T Factory

Visiting the Piquette Avenue Ford Plant is a unique experience - it's the oldest auto plant open to the public anywhere in the world.

Almost unchanged since Henry Ford's day, the plant is a three-story New England-style mill building. Each floor is divided into sections by the original metal fire doors, complete with the shadows of Henry Ford's "Positively NO Smoking" stencils.

Our Approach

Motown Museum

This old Detroit home belies the greatness that was born here: the Motown Sound. But one step inside Hitsville, USA, the original house where Berry Gordy lived and recorded the Motown hits, and you'll catch the beat and spirit of this booming music era. Photos, costumes, artwork, music and other memorabilia take you back to simpler times.

Our Approach

Detroit River Walk

The city managers have invested a good deal of thinking, and then money, into renewing this gem of an area. There is a great Riverwalk, concert area, shops along water's edge, and now in the GM Center, an indoor array of shops, movie theater, restaurants. Bike rentals are nearby, and the Port of Detroit, complete with replica paddle wheel vessel for river tours

Beer Tastings & Tours in Detroit

"I decided to use Handlebar for a surprise birthday party for my husband. This company was absolutely amazing to work with! I always received replies to e-mails and text messages within 20min. Everyone was incredibly pleasant, helpful, and fun to work with! Every single person that attended had a blast, and all commented on how great the company was. Our drivers Zach, Jeff, and Elizabeth were a dream! We had a very large group of people, and they made sure everything ran without a glitch. Handlebar planned everything out for us and made everything incredibly easy and stress free. I would highly recommend them for any event you may be planning.
